When Lavarello met the President Kim Il Sung he knew that the President was a personifier of high humanity and benevolent father above an outstanding ideological theoretician.
Lavarello told about the first impression on him as follows:
I admit that my reverence to President Kim Il Sung came from the admiration for the Juche idea he created, first of all.
But when I saw him I felt from the depth of my heart that he was a great man, personifier of high humanity, father of mankind and an intimate friend without any space than a great leader and great ideologist.
Later he would warmly recall the day when he first met President Kim Il Sung as a momentous day in his life and the happiest day he had his wish fulfilled.
