Unusual Competition
Recently the head of the blast furnace workshop of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex has a trouble each time in summing up the competition of production for he was hard to decide the ranks of the workteams.
His trouble has a reason.
It is commonplace for every workteam not only put equipment into good shape, but also supplies materials for the next shift, and every man of the workteam, too, helps the next shift without leaving their workplace to go home.
Moreover, the workshop is replete with the spirit of veteran skilled workers helping their inferiors.
The habit of helping one another among the workers, shifts, and workteams in the workshop is making the summing up and ranking difficult.
Each of the workshop members poses a question “What will I do good today for our workteam, shift and workshop?” to himself and runs to do something good one more.
This is an unusual competition among all the workers of this workshop for the collective innovation with a single mind of “One for all, all for one!”
