As the years went by, the parents troubled themselves with the future of their daughter.
However, smile never left from the face of the blind Pak Jin Ri because the state provided her with new school uniforms and things in every season and the teacher in charge and her classmates took special care of her going to and coming from the school.
Cheerful singing never ceased to come from her mouth.
One day, Pak Jin Ri came from the school unusually with a gloomy look. Mother asked her why, but she was obstinately silent.
By her mother’s repeated asking, she told at last: Mom, I want to sing with my mates on the stage.
Her parents had a sleepless night.
A few days from then, officials of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled paid a visit to the family.
They say her artistic ability and ensured to meet her wish.
Amid the deep concern of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled, her ability was improved as the days went by.
Seeing their daughter win a big hand for her song on a stage the parents wept.
They could not find words to express the gratitude of the state for her daughter’s dream coming true, which was beyond their ability.
She sang with the gratitude to the country on the stages and won the warm applause of the foreigners when she visited a Western country as a member of the Pyongyang Disabled Exchange delegation.
