Make the Factory Loved by People
On January 15, 2009 Chairman Kim Jong Il (1942-2011) gave on-the-spot guidance to newly-built Pyongyang Chewing Gum Factory.
He was much pleased to see the chewing gums flowing out of the automated control machines with wonderful hygienic and cultural conditions, saying that now the people can be supplied with the quality chewing gums sufficiently. Then he indicated tasks and ways to keep the factory at a full work on the production.
He stressed that although we produce a chewing gum, we should keep the traditional customs and taste of the Korean people above all else and to this end it is always essential to think and use brains from the people’s standpoint. Chewing gum is one of fancy items of all people and the workers of the factory should turn out a larger number of quality chewing gums with the spirit of serving the people to make the factory loved by the people.
