One day over ten years ago the officers of a Korean People’s Army unit had an honor of posing for a photograph together with Chairman Kim Jong Il against the background of the dam of a power station they built.
They stood beside the Chairman with delight. The cameraman, bringing a camera in focus, approached a pine-nut tree some paces distance ahead of him. It was a good place for camerawork, but a branch of tree was an obstruction.
The cameraman was to break off the branch when Chairman called the cameraman in haste and told him no to do so, the tree was planted by the soldiers. He asked why the branch had to be broken off.
The cameraman whose thought was only on taking the Chairman’s image bright and reverent blushed his face and hurriedly released his hold upon the branch.
After all, the cameraman had to move the place before taking the picture.
