A ceremony for the completion of the Pothonggang Riverside Terraced Residential District was grandly held in the presence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in April 2022.

At the end of the ceremony he made rounds of the houses, stressing the need to take a necessary step so that the people who moved into the new houses might not feel any inconvenience.

An official told him of the people’s good reflection about the distribution of the houses to the merited people and labor innovators. General Secretary Kim Jong Un said, it was very good to distribute the houses of Kyongru-dong to the merited people and labor innovators.

He went on to say, to our Party whose traits is unconditional service to the people, the word of the world for the people is not a motto. We did not build such excellent houses to give a face-lifting appearance of the city. The houses built in Kyongru-dong should be given to the people who established the government and uphold it.
