When They Fell Asleep
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a unit of the Korean People’s Army at midnight in the early spring of a year.
The soldiers fell asleep at that time and so quiet settled over the unit.
Looking around the commanding officers of the unit he said that as it is the midnight he can’t meet the soldiers, but he wants to see them sleeping soundly. And then he entered a bed room of a platoon.
He looked at the various sleeping soldiers for a while and said he is pleased to see them sleeping well as the bedroom is comfortably warm. Having worried if the temperature of the bed room was going down he tried to feel the temperature for a long time.
Then he went to another bed room.
He tenderly asked the officials to be quiet for not waking the soldiers up and looked at the sleeping soldiers for a long while. He smiled, saying that it has been a long time for him to smell the sweat of the soldiers.
He asked the officials to be out of the bed room quickly in order not to wake them up from a sound sleep. Walked out very carefully from the bedroom he said he is feeling bright again to see the soldiers in a good sleep.
On the same day he made rounds of various places of the unit to look after the livelihood of the soldiers and left the unit before their turnout.
