International Children’s Day
Friendship and Joint Celebration to mark the 73rd Anniversary of June 1 International Children’s Day took place at the Pleasure Ground of Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang on June 1.
The gathering began with dances and folk games showing the happy children amidst the playing of children’s songs.
Then followed sports and amusement games.
The participation of foreigners in the interesting amusement games of Korean children added to the atmosphere of the gathering.
At the end of the games children danced a circle dance and used funfair facilities to have a good time.
Diverse events took place in Pyongyang and other provinces on the same day to mark the International Children’s Day.
