In June 2013 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un while in Changsong County for on-site guidance called in at Changsong Restaurant.

He asked the officials to keep working well, not being content with their successes. At Dining Room No. 1 on the ground floor, he said looking round it that the dining rooms were vacant and it would have been better to see people enjoy the meal, which is regrettable.

Having acquainted himself with the operation of the restaurant and what the people said of it, he was satisfied and said as follows: the fairest appraisal of what was done by the officials rests on people’s voice. If people say it say good, no other appraisal needs any longer. Officials should ensure whatever they do to the people’s liking.
