WPK Is Called Motherly Party

The Korean people call the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) “the motherly party”.
The motherly party is not a word formulated by any thinker and politician, but the honorary title and name pertaining to the WPK, given by the people themselves.
Then, why do the Korean people call their WPK the motherly party?
In a nutshell, the WPK pursues the policy of making everything serve the popular masses, that is, people-first principle.
There is nothing more valuable than the people and there is nothing more sacred than the interests of people. This is the motto of the WPK.
Some years ago unexpected rainfall hit the area along the Tuman River, the northern tip of Korea, bringing about unprecedented flood damage.
On the spot the members of an international organisation met with a girl of eleven years.
From the first glance they noticed unaccountable action. She and her family members were left alone because their house and property were washed away. But there was no shade of fear and pessimism on her face. When they asked her about her livelihood, she said she was sure that Marshal Kim Jong Un would build a new house for them.
Nobody knew what kind of measures concerning the rehabilitation the State would adopt. In the heart of the young girl was firm belief in the leader and socialist system.
Her belief was correct.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that there is no state of emergency greater than the pains of the people and there is no work more important than to relieve the misery of the people. Thanks to his noble intention new modern houses were put up in the affected area in a little over two months to bring about an auspicious event such as moving of the flood sufferers into the new houses.
That is why the Korean people trust and follow the WPK and grandly celebrate the day of party founding anniversary every year, October 10, calling it “the mother’s birthday”.
