Mt. Kuwol
Mt. Kuwol takes its name from September(Kuwol in Korean) because the autumn-tinted mountain is so beautiful in September.
It is one of the six famous mountains of Korea from ancient time for its beauty of the mountain and valleys.
It is 954 meters high above sea level. It consists of 99 curious peaks, large and small, including Sahwang Peak, the main peak, O Peak (859m), Jugo Peak (823m), Sam Peak (615m), Asa Peak (688m) and other peaks.
It has a lot of historic spot and relics.
It has remains of the castle 5 230 meters round, one of the five castles in Hwanghae Province.
