Solidarity with Korean People Held
An enlarged meeting of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People took place on February 28 via video-conferencing.
Present there were co-chairpersons of the regional committee, the head of the Secretariat, the director of information and other members of the committee and personages of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and the Juche idea study organizations in Russia, Nepal, Myanmar, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Germany, the U.K., Sweden, Croatia and Peru.
The meeting discussed the organizational structure of the regional committee and the orientation of its activities.
Then followed speeches.
Madhav Kumar Nepal, former prime minister of Nepal who is co-chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, Raymond Ferguson, secretary general of the Australia-DPRK Association for Friendship and Culture who is head of the Secretariat of the Regional Committee and Javed Ansari, chairperson of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee who is executive secretary of the Secretariat of the Regional Committee made speeches.
The action program was adopted at the meeting.
