To Cope with the Disastrous Abnormal Climate
In mid-July, there was the consultative meeting between the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) and the relevant authorities amidst the unified statewide control to cope with the disastrous abnormal climate caused by El Niño this year.The consultative meeting put on the agenda the publicity work for raising the awareness on a disaster crisis to the population.And they discussed the issues on how to promote cooperation with stakeholders in detecting flood-danger areas, landslide and rockslide points and strengthen the interconnection at the advent of natural calamity by enhancing their role and responsibility.
