2023 annual review and 2024 planning meeting in the Headquarters of the DPRK RCS
2023 annual review and 2024 planning meeting was held at the Headquarters of the Red Cross Society of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK RCS) in December, 2023.Present at the meeting were the staff from the Headquarters of the DPRK RCS including the Secretary General and program personnel. They gave the briefing of their own activities such as crisis and disaster management, international cooperation and capacity building of the DPRK RCS and shared the information about the green response workshop held in the HQs and online participation in the 11th Asia Pacific Conference and the Extraordinary General Assembly of the IFRC.Meanwhile, the experiences and lessons learnt from the works of last year were shared.During the meeting, they highlighted the importance of capacity building of the national society, climate change mitigation and adaptation and the environment protection in drawing the 2024 plan.And lots of constructive opinions were offered in relation to the 2024 activity.
