Effective Hygienic Promotion
The hygienic promotion was conducted briskly even during the hottest period of this summer by the Red Cross (RC) volunteers and youth members throughout the country to contribute to the improvement of the people’s health.
They visited factories, enterprises and households, recommending people to wear a hat or parasol and drink water often to prevent sunstroke and heatstroke when they go out during the day.
They advised the elderly and people with cardiac malfunctions to refrain from going outside.
They also gave simple explanations to make people better understand about first aid (FA) knowledge like FA on sunstroke and heatstroke and other advice on hydrating oneself during the sweltering summer.
The local health workers played a great role in the effective hygienic promotion conducted by the RC volunteers and youth members.
