On the Occasion of Autumn Sanitation Months
With the commencement of the autumnal sanitation months, the RC branches in different parts of the country are encouraging the RC volunteers to conduct sanitation campaigns in close connection with the work to protect the ecological environment when they are cleaning or renovating their streets, communities and workplaces in a cultured and sanitary manner and in close collaboration with the relevant power organs.
Throughout their activities, the emphasis is always on preventing well in advance the outbreak and spread of various communicable diseases.
According to the above guideline, the RC volunteers are actively engaged in such undertakings as IEC (information, education and communication) activities aimed at raising the public awareness about the importance and significance of sanitation activities in the relevant months, laying out of green belts and flower beds so that no patch of ground remains un-green and also identifying and removing all potential habitats of harmful insects, etc.
