Mother’s Day Marked across Country

Many people visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and mosaics depicting their smiling images on Mansu Hill and all other parts of the country to pay a floral tribute to them on the occasion of the significant day of mothers (November 16) in Pyongyang, capital city of DPRK.
There was a ceremony of awarding citations to women who are bringing up many children. It added to the honor and happiness of the mothers who hold in high esteem General Secretary Kim Jong Un as father of the great family of the whole country.
The whole country was in a joyful mood amid the laughter of mothers and their children leading a happy life under the care of the Party.
Performances and film shows were given at theatres and cinemas in the capital city.
Songs of dear mothers were heard everywhere, and children were seen choosing greeting cards, flowers and souvenirs at bookstores, souvenir and flower shops in the hope of seeing their mothers always remain happy and young.
