Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Club
The Vietnam-Korea Friendship Club was inaugurated on July 12, 1991.
It is a pivotal organization of solidarity and friendship activities put up by the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association and helps to facilitate the economic, cultural as well as scientific and technical cooperation between Vietnam and the DPRK.
Besides, it participates in the activities for the friendship with the DPRK initiated by the state and the friendship association and organizes forums and story meetings for introducing the socialist construction and the national reunification struggle of the DPRK.
The club held various political events on the major occasions of the DPRK including the Day of the Sun and the Day of Shining Star, especially presenting with respect messages, souvenirs and flower baskets to President Kim Il Sung , Leader Kim Jong Il and Respected comrade Kim Jong Un .
Tran Tho Chu ex-Chairman of the club was awarded the Order of DPRK Friendship 2nd class and diploma.
