Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected a newly built fish cold storage setup in January 2014.
Looking round the latest facilities for the fish storage and processing that day, he told them he was in the setup to discuss the capacity of the fish supply for the baby home, orphanage, primary and middle schools for orphans, and old people’s homes throughout the country and asked them about the annual amount needed to feed each of them 300g/day.
Then he gave an order of Supreme Commander to organize a fishing station in the exclusive charge of supplying fishes to the baby home, orphanage, primary and middle schools for orphans, and old people’s homes.
Emphasizing to build the fishing station to a highest standard level and he fixed the location of the station, selected the units of design and building and took measures for the provision of equipment and materials, selection of fishermen, and arrangement of ships and fishing tackles.
Few months later, January 8 Fishing Station was newly built for the orphans on the occasion of Sun’s Day (April 15)
