The finals of the 2022 Inter-Provincial Mass Sports Contest took place on September 9 at the Kim Il Sung Stadium in the capital city of Pyongyang amidst the great interests of the Korean people and sports fans.

Among the spectators were cadres of the Workers’ Party of Korea(WPK) and the government, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the WPK, chairpersons of provincial people’s committees, deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly, the participants in the celebrations of the 74^th founding anniversary of the DPRK and citizens in the capital city.

Veteran cadres who had worked in the Party, the government and the military for a long time also watched the games.

The march-past by provinces and a model performance of gymnasts were followed by final games of each event.

South Hwanghae Province came first in total standings to win a rotating trophy cup and North Hamgyong and North Hwanghae Provinces went second and third respectively.
